“Without Art, Earth is Eh!”
Fundraising Event 2024

Recover Guyana proudly hosted its inaugural fundraising event, “Without Art, Earth is Eh!”, on August 31, 2024, at the picturesque Indian Monument Gardens in Georgetown. Featuring a unique blend of art, music, and community spirit, the event raised GYD $1.2 million, surpassing expectations and setting the stage for an impactful year-end hamper distribution drive.​

The evening was filled with vibrant performances, including soulful violin renditions by Akeem Adams and captivating vocals by Jovinski Thorne, as attendees enjoyed a “Sip and Paint” session, an artwork auction, and raffle prizes. Excitement ran high as winners took home sought-after prizes like Caribbean Premier League (CPL) tickets, a Kaieteur Falls tour, and an Essequibo island-hopping trip.
